Moorestown, NJ, June 9, 2008 – Parkeon, the world’s leading provider of integrated on-street parking systems, is pleased to announce the hiring of Dan Kupferman as the company’s newest Dan has been a “parking pro” for sixteen years. He began his career overseeing the parking program at Mount Auburn Hospital in Cambridge, MA, then became a commercial operator overseeing multiple locations for LAZ Parking and Standard Parking. For the past nine years, as regional manager for Network Parking Company, Ltd., Dan was involved in just about everything related to the day-to-day operations of parking facilities including finance, marketing, human resources, customer service and maintenance. He would also make decisions on parking and revenue control equipment and consulted on issues such as traffic flow, capacity analysis, rate structures, and new construction. As if his duties at Network Parking were not enough, Dan is also the current President of the New England Parking Council, and will soon be earning his CAPP designation (Certified Administrator of Public Parking) from the International Parking Institute. “I’m excited to be joining the Parkeon team”, says Dan. “Our focus is to bring solutions to our clients’ parking problems and I look forward to being a part of that process.” By offering clients advanced meter technology for both Pay-by-Space and Pay & Display environments, sophisticated back office parking management software, and the ability to integrate with allied parking technologies, Parkeon helps cities build the on-street parking systems they need to track and manage transactions, occupancy, violations, maintenance needs, and more. Over 100 cities and universities throughout North America rely on Parkeon to help them manage their parking needs.
